New Zealand Ghosts & Other Haunts

Hello to all, I have been very interested over the years in an old derelict Edwardian Hotel in Grahamstown Thames New Zealand, The Royal Hotel, actually in love with it...I have been over it a few times, would dearly love to buy it and restore it...however, my son took some photos for me in January 2009, he had said he and his friend were aware of 'something' in one of the top windows...when I processed the photos, I was blown away to see an orb..and what looks like letters on the glass?...hmmm so curiousity aroused, I checked all the photos I had recently seen of the Royal Hotel plus my own photos and hello 'orbs' , and one of my photos, the image of f a Victorian gentleman in top veranda door glass...hmmm even Google Street View shows a distinct orb with a halo on the same top veranda...curiouser and curiouser said Alice! One of my friends said they were aware of a gentleman and two ladies 'occupying the Royal......in this 'awareness' they saw gas lights which would have been correct for the time...I just love this lovely old Hotel, and have written an article about my adventures there, which I will publish this year sometime..I have put the orbs online if anyone wishes to check them out, and leave comments..thanks Helena http://www.historyandmystery.homestead. ... hames.html ....would love to hear what anyone thinks about these odd orbs

Welcome alienzone - certainly sounds like a gorgeous old hotel.
