Dieing to find out and still patiently waiting

I think I wrote about this somewhere else on the forum, but not sure where... so, here goes. I'm naturally very practical and scientifically minded, however, unexplainable things happened alot when I was younger but I just accepted them as part of life. My parents home is a 100year old villa in Whangarei. Without doubt there was something there. As a child I didn't particularly like this entity, but I didn't question it, I thought it was just normal. While I was playing it would come into the room, you could feel the atmosphere change. Many of my friends hated this particular room in the house, I didn’t disclose my experience to them until years later as it felt like a personal thing, something you don’t talk about so I was always slightly intrigued when other people noticed the strange atmosphere in the room or even the house.
I never saw anything visually but the most frightening experience was when I was about 10 or 11. I slept on the top bunk bed and one night I woke up and knew ‘it’ was there beside the bed. It was different this night to the others, it seemed more intense, more frightening. I was facing the wall and the only way to describe it, was that a cool long breath blew into my ear. I could feel the hair around my ear move with the force. It absolutely terrified me. I curled up under the blankets & in the morning went & asked mum if she came in, in the night & blew in my ear (she must have thought I was weird!!) She of course said no. I checked the windows but they were firmly shut. I was so traumatised by it I wasn’t able to sleep with my ears exposed right up into my teens, even when staying at someone else’s house.
I recently asked my sister if she thought the house was haunted & she said yeah maybe there was something there. (I always thought she denied it so that was interesting!) Also, my little brother used to have hysterical nightmares where he would actually rip the wallpaper off the wall behind him, these went on for a good few years, he was always afraid of the boogie man & of course - his bedroom was the same room I felt the presence in! But of course - he could just have been having nightmares
I've asked other people what they feel in the house & most people have an uneasy feeling about some part of the house!
