I have a location for you.
Strathern Inn in Invercargill. The ghost is called Nelly.
I cant find any information to date about her or the location, all though i havent tried very hard. Its local knowledge its haunted. Its currently a restaurant and i believe used to be a stables? and maybe a bording house after that.
Trying to find more information and if you know of more locations in Invercargill id be much appreciated.

Hi Franklee, I texted you on Sunday but maybe I had the wrong number? Did you get my message?

I didn't go in the end - I should have just gone by myself but maybe I chickened out, I dunno. Sa la vie!

But I have some very good news regarding the Whangarei property - the new owner, who is a friend & neighbour of my mum, is turning it into a B&B!!!! I should be able to find out the progress & timescale etc. I guess that means that an investigation of the site could go ahead in the future, albeit covertly, tho I'm sure the owner wouldn't mind the ex-owners daughter taking a look around, for old times sake! ;)

Oh Rats!!! I would have been keen to check that house out.

Unfortunately I've been in Mt Maunganui for a few days packing my mothers things up (sniff). It took longer than i thought as my fathers idea of packing Mums stuff up included looking through every item in the house and putting it in one of three piles - dump, give to the church, or me take it home. Its really sad because my Dad has only kept the absolute basics and every drawer, cupboard and wardrobe in the house is now empty!!!!

Anyway if we do want to get a group together I'm very interested.
