Hey guys and gals. Ive been a member of this forum for some time now and I am currently experiencing a preternatural dry spell. As rude as that sounds, what Im implying is that the Auckland area seems to be lacking locations to examine or investigate. If anyone has a location or home, workplace or knows of a good public area with a reputation, perhaps you might consider dropping me a message to my inbox here at NZ Ghosts. I would really appreciate being able to bring our team to an established location for a training exercise. There are not many opportunities for people in paranormal groups to train hands on with equipment in a legitimate site...usually its at someones house with coffee and daylight. I would love a chance to train them in the dark...with the possibility of a real spook! Recently I was involved with the Henderson police station investigation so if you need a sanity measurement...ask Supernerd! Im sure she will tell you Im mostly harmless (like planet earth). Cheers all!

Hmm unfortunately its difficult to quantify a haunted person. If you levitated, vomited kitchen appliances and whitewear and could spin your head more than 180 degrees in either direction I would be at your house with a handycam and bag of crisps faster than you could say "You knoooowwww what sheeeee did!?!?!?!" (quoting exorcist)

If you ate the food that the station cafeteria pumps out, that will be the general effect. :D

I did warn you... several times in fact. I'd even brought in my own coffee, because I knew about the cheap rubbish that the cafeteria puts out. So don't blame me. NYAAAAR!! :P

Hey Franklee

Have you thought of Whatipu Lodge?. Its supposed to be very haunted AND the land around it is also supposed to have had lots of paranormal activity! If you go I'd be a starter :D (By the way my coffee was fine at the Police Station :D (cause someone tipped me off about that other disgusting stuff))

Haha Mrs B, I knew the coffee was bad but I wanted to be just like a police man on the night...so I drank the coffee and turned blue. The only thing arrested that night was my heart beat.

Oh hey Whatipu is awesome. You keen to come along if I can get my old offsider and co to venture in with us?

Depending on the date, I'd be interested also. I'm still snuffling away, but getting better slowly. :D

Cold is gone, and I'm just coughing away, but that's getting less and less as time goes by...

*starts singing badly "As time goes by"*

Unitech? Pt Chev branch? I used to go there in the 70's and 80's for office training. Pretty good food too...

I'm interested, just let me know the date and if it's a working date/time, I'll arrange for time off at work. I've got bucketloads of leave to get rid of.

And I'll promise not to do the 'Medium' bit. I was lousy at it. :D

*looks at Kiwilady*

I will email you guys with the date and time for Unitech closer to the time. Im trying to organise some of the wellies guys to come up and take part as well, as a training exercise. The Auckland team is very keen as we undertook unitech recently and had an fantastic time, mostly laughs but a fair bit of EMF and EVP evidence was gathered as well. Out of three hundred plus pictures, we got ONE that was dodgy. Thats pretty amusing!

I've been planning a trip to Whatipu with my other half for ages, we haven't got a date but if somethings organised could we tag along? We haven't done a proper investigation but what we lack in experience we make up in enthusiasm. And wit :D :P

I have a potential venue - it's unavailable now for a month but will be empty from the 11th July. It's my mum & dads 100 year old villa in Whangarei, it's had activity in the past but I haven't lived in the house for many years and am not really sure if it's still 'occupied' as it were :) I still don't like being in there by myself tho!! Could be good for training newbies such as myself :) :) :) Oh, and depending on numbers, the house can sleep 7+ for free :) Here's some pics: ImageImageImage

You could always go for a tramp in the Auckland domain. I have heard several stories about a fenced off area. But I guess you should wait for summer for that one.

There's plenty of tramps in the Auckland Domain, but some them may protest if you grabbed one and investigated him. ;)
