Hi all :D

I have a ghostly pet story to tell you`s.It all began with my cat called muffin she was a short haired ginger tabby kitten that decided to adopt me when i was a visiting my local cats protection league. Right from the start she was a very loving and affectionate Kitten also very playful we had her for about six months, until one night we let her out at and her fate was sealed, she got hit by a car and managed to crawl under the house to saftey the next day i was searching for my cat and looked under the house where thats i found her,so i rushed her to the vet but the vet said there was nothing he could do for her given the nature of her injuries so i had to have her put down .Then two week`s later it started, hearing a cat purring and meowing feeling a cat jumping on your chest to wake you in the middle of the night which was coincidently muffins feeding time, and seeing faint grey cat like shapes now and again.

My next experience was with my next cat Buttons. She was a stray that adopted me and her personality was the oppersite of my first one . to cut along story short she got run over by the guy living next door . But the strange thing is i was calling buttons in for her evening meal and she didnt come, so i thought i would leave till a bit later. It was dark the next time i called her and still nothing then i went out to look for her and calling her name out loud and turned my head to see a grey outline of a cat run past me and disapear on the front lawn next door and thats where i found my mangled cats body.

Well thats all folks :D

thanks taye

Hi, I'm new, but have known of this site for a while.

I've had experience with a cat "ghost". When I was a student I lived alone in a small back flat. I had to walk down a small path to get there. One time I was walking there, after coming home from work late at night, and I heard a meow. I thought it was the landlord's cat - they lived at the front. I turned and saw two white eyes, I shrugged it off as one of the neighbour's cat.

Later, that night I heard a cat meow from INSIDE my house, I thought the landlord's cat had gotten in - she was friendly with me after I cat sat her for a few months while the LL was away. I got up, but no where in the flat was a cat!

Over the next few weeks I heard the cat scratching at my bedroom door, meowing, and I could smell that smell of cat. I started to think it was a ghost cat when I saw it out of the corner of my eye, it was a fuzzy outline of a cat, with glowing white eyes and then I felt a cold brush against my leg. Later that night I had just gone to bed and I heard the cat meow, scratch the door (it was a sliding plastic curtain kind of door) and then I heard cat paws and felt it jump up on my bed. I thought "Got you now, your ruskle cat" thinking it was the LL.

Turned on the light and there was nothign there. But the sensation of a cat on my legs still was!

The ghost cat hung around for about a year and never gave me any grief, I actually missed them when they finally left.
