Hey don't forget me!!!! I may be quiet at the mo but I'm still here and getting excited about next Saturday. I'll be there with bells on!!!!!!

Franklee I'll have camera, digital voice recorder, vid cam and tripod. I'll bring food of some sort (see what happens on the day).

I was talking to a lady the other day about the police station and it turned out that her husband had worked at the old Henderson Police Station. It turns out that that station was also haunted by a man. Many people saw that ghost who looked just like a fleshie man and it was thought that perhaps he was from a house which had stood on the land there before the Police Station was built. Maybe he got used to being around the hustle of a police station and moved over with the police?

Or he may have moved with some of the equipment, as we still have some of the old stuff in the bar.

Update: I've managed to get a hold of one of our cops who is an unofficial historian and Police club member. She's going to provide us with a photo of the person, who may be this ghost. And she's going to find us something old but police related.
I might do a portrait of the photo afterwards. :D

Kiwilady, I wouldn't be surprised of the ghost moving around. I'll tell our resident Clairvoyant-In-Denial about this, as she's always seeing this other man, who is wearing a cowboy hat; haunting the bar (not our spook).

One week to go boys and girls! Dress warmly as its bloody freezing in the bar/cafeteria area. Franklee, I never heard from you. Do you want me to bring in a wee coffee plunger and coffee for you?

Also... Shannenj! Introduce yourself to all of us. We won't bite. We're all nice people (when sober). C'mon! :D

I'll bring in the plunger, you bring the coffee...

I bet there's now quite a few people starting to twitch in their seats as the time draws near.
*watches Kiwilady bounce off the walls*
Imagine what it'll be like with coffee added to the mix.

Got everything planned and packed, everyone?

Franklee, my plunger is just a wee one. A 2 cupper. My big one is a percolator, and no way am I lugging that hefty thing. :P

I'm still trying to get the small trigger objects, but now having a bit of trouble. Argh! :P

BTW, what's everyone bringing by way of grub? Mine is the Turkey and mustard sandwiches (by special request). :)

Im bringing my wife (probably) and a selection of equipment, though Im going to keep it basic this time and try to operate more from a "feelings" and "senses" perspective than I did last time. No more running about with the EMF detector...lol oh and I will bring cookies and stuff...

The most important piece of equipement must not be forgotten...

Batteries!!!

I'm now getting a tad worried that I may not have the trigger objects after all. I've had no reply to my messages to my contact. :( *whimpers*

An update, I have come down with a cold and am not feeling 100%, as it is only Thursday night I cant know how I will be feeling on Saturday. However if by chance I am feeling anything like I am tonight I dont think I will be attending, as I wouldnt feel up to drving to Auckland from Whangarei, and then sleeping in my car as I had planned.
But will keep you posted.

Right! Final update:

I've been unable to get the trigger objects. The person I was talking to about them, never got back to me. :(

But the good news is: the bar has plenty of them hanging on the walls. :D May borrow one or two...

Now, this is for those who have never been inside the station. There's parking at the front. If one goes through the main doors, there is a flight of stairs to the left. Just go up them. I'll be at the top of them keeping an eye out for you all.
Pooke, if you're unable to make it, let us know tomorrow morning. If your cold/flu is going to get as bad as I think it will, best to stay indoors at home; curled up and warm. ...We don't want the bugs!!!!

I'll be in the station from approx 7.30pm, but I've set the start time at 8.30pm, so as to give everyone time to set their equipment up, brew coffee and grizzle about forgetting batteries/equipment/sanity.

Some of you may recognise the police station from the TV. As it was used as a set for a certain NZ made fictional TV detective series that was on in the late 90's. Let's see who can guess which series I am talking about (because I've forgotten what it was called :P ).

Image

The address is:
7 Buscomb Avenue
Henderson

The station is on the corner of Buscomb and Sel Peacock. And for the strangers in town... Sel Peacock is off Lincoln Road. The building is a big red brick building, 2 storey, 1980's design. :D[/img]

Actually feeling quite good tonight, so will most likely make it tomorrow night. Barremel thanks for the offer of a ride but I prefer to have my car there. sorta a security blanket thing.

No, my boss decided it's not 'appropriate' for the admin girl to be driving patients around the country. Kinda agree with her! So only one trip down to the big smoke :) Yay!!!

Pooke - no worries, I guess most people would be a bit cautious about jumping in a car with a stranger too! What time you gonna head down?
