OK I'm getting excited now!!!!!!

Supe, do you need a ride home tonight?

Franklee, are you able to bring your emf meter anyway (cause I sort of NEED real evidence or confirmation about things that happen - or not ((for the skeptic in me!)) ). I have a new theory about the 'feelings and senses' stuff which I'll talk to you about tonight if you want.

I'm making a list (and checking it twice): camera, voice recorder, vidcam, tripod, batteries, more batteries, food!!!!!! Oh shoot food!!!!!! Sorry folks no homemade banana cake this time, it'll be something quick and easy. Such a busy day today - netball ALL day, then prizegiving at 6 followed by netball fundraiser (which I have to sneak out of to go ghosthunting-YAY)

Looking forward to catching with you all and meeting some new people.

Yes, Kiwilady, I'll be scabbing a lift home tonight. :D

I'm bringing an old Trifield meter which does work (thankfully) so that can be borrowed if you want to.
As for the quick and easy food, that's okay. There's bound to be a takeaway somewhere. ;)

Have made the decision, I will not be coming down for the investigation. Just not up for a late night.

Fair enough, Pooke. You've got the dreaded lurgy and that can drain one. :)

We'll be thinking of you tonight though. :D

Colt and I will be there at eight thirty (ish) as we tend to be a wee bit early but will try for on time tonight. I will be bringing EMF meter, digicam, torch and laser thermometer. Oh and maybe a voice recorder as well. I will attempt to obtain coffee on the way.

See yas all tonight!
Frank

Taintedkitten you have to send your partners date of birth and full name to Supernerd so she can check him out before he can enter the restricted portion of the police station. We all had to do it.... :)

I've packed everything, sandwiches made. Spare camera ready....

...and I've still haven't gotten around to learning the vidcam. Shame on me! I have to leave it behind. :P

Hunt is over. Lots of interesting photos were taken. *looks at taintedkitten*

Franklee saw some odd things out on the veranda, which he can explain better.

The trigger object could be considered a success.

shannenj proved herself to be a 'sensitive' and got the closest to the name of the second spook, which I hadn't told anyone.

I was trying to sense where the spook was and inadvertently 'channelled' him, which I was not intending to do last night. Even though it was a successful one. I must have relaxed too much. :?

The stage area proved to be a hot spot... or should I say 'cold spot'? Barremel had some interesting moments there. Lots of interesting photos there. Barremel and I swapped places, and I sat there. What a big cold spot indeed!!!

The table-tapping/tipping could be considered a flop. Though a cold spot circled us, and some shadows were seen.

Here are my three photos, of which I'm a tad iffy about:

The last two were in an area which we had seen/sensed a lot of stuff going on in a previous hunt.
The photos are really bigger than this, but something somewhere is shrinking 'em down to this. :P

Anyone care to elaborate on this? Personal experiences. Yeah! I know, I downplayed myself somewhat.

Here we go. My photos are brighter on my camera screen than the actual photos. If anyone wants to see the original since I think this will downsize the photos or anything brightened/cropped, let me know.

No idea what this next one is but looks kind of like an eye and it's not on any other photos, and there are lighter photos, I can't find anything it can reflect off. Quite a few of the orbs actually have almost like a reflection orb or something off them which can't be seen in these dark pictures but can when they've been lightened.

Now this next picture is the one everyones talking about. Here's the original picture.

Now here's the same picture cropped and brightened so you can see...

I would like to point out that in the photo above, neither device in my hands was switched on at the time. Its obvious that the torch is off as there is no light from it...the EMF detector does not emit light and uses an LCD rather than an LED to denote energy levels...so its monochrome without backlight. These white bands of light are really interesting when nothing else is sufficiently blurred nor are there sources of light to create reflections.

Fascinating, the thing that strikes me most about the photographs is the orbs appear to be traveling in pairs. All of the shots have 2 distinct orbs, always in relatively close proximity.
I'll reserve comment on Franklee's shot, I would like to see the full size jpg before saying anything further.
looks like you all had a great and eventful night.

Taintedkitten, the one you thought might be an eye is actually part of a pair of old handcuffs that is nailed at that part of the wall.

Now on another note....

Somehow information of this hunt has leaked to the New Zealand Herald, which I didn't want. Through this, I'm now in deep sh*t. :(

So it looks like no more hunts at the station anymore. I'd love to get my hands on the person who told the Herald, who gave the alias of Charlie Brown. They've spoilt it for everyone. :x

There was no permission for publicity.

**UPDATE**

Situation has been defused at my end, but now the bar is off limits to us. The bosses are still OK about us, but are taking care of the irritating reporter. Through this I and the bosses both have agreed that the bar is to be no longer available for further ghost hunts.

I do have a suspicion as to who the leak is, and it's at my workplace. :(

Well it's easy enough for anyone to read the forum. It's not a secret society. Please folks do remember that.
The media are there and will always snoop. I can't do anything to prevent that. Sorry you have a leak. We will have to hire a plumber.....

Ah bugger. I noticed two women who came in and out during the investigation and neither of which replied to my pleasant "Ello!" nor to my reference to the weather and how nice it was upstairs and outside...so I guess perhaps one or both of those ladies were a bit anti me/us/life in general??

One of those women was the daughter of a staff member. Her father thinks the world of her, but the rest of my work colleagues find her dodgy and take care not to say much to her or leave valuables lying around. She's done this sort of thing before with the newspapers. That is the person I suspect. She wasn't even supposed to be allowed in the building!!

I know the culprit wasn't a member of this site, or even a media person prowling in here, as some of the details were grossly incorrect. Which told me someone who is not a member or even visiting this site passed it on. So it had to be someone at work. :)

Me no worked in Intelligence fer nowt. ;)
