Was there actually an article IN the Herald? Surely what we were up to barely constitutes controversy!

I got a call from my boss at work saying that a reporter from the Herald had heard about it, and had heard that there was supposed to be another ghost hunt tonight, and that we were 'ghostbusting' it. He said he was coming up tonight to join in. My boss couldn't deter this very determined reporter.

That was the inaccurate information.

So there's going to be one very pee'd off reporter showing up tonight only to find nuttin's happenin'.

I think this reporter's story may end up in the bin. :)

Arrrgg! My laptop has decided to pack it in, I'v been trying to download my pics for the last half hour.

It was a really good night, great place to start for newbies like me. I learnt some stuff too! :) And of course - great to actually meet everyone! :)

So here's my pics, I don't go much on orbs but that's all I captured this time. The blue one is interesting tho.Image

Image

This is the blue orb - the pic directly preceeding it shows nothing in the vicinity.
Image

The next 2 show an orb on an upwards journey.

Barremel... Niiiiice pics. :D

Update on my side:

All is ok. A few others are suspecting the same person I suspect, is the cause of the furor. But alas, No more hunts in the cop shop.

Well... not for a while. Things may change in the future as the big bosses are still on our side. :D

I also had a really good time on saturday night. It was really cool meeting everyone and it was a really good for a newbie for me to learn as much as I did.
I agree with supernerd about the stage. I def had a weird feeling sitting on there and it was really cold. The rest of the room wasnt so cold but there it really was.
I didnt get anything intresting on my camera but it was really neat to see everyone else photos from the night.

It really sucks that someone said something about the investigation. I guess some people have nothing better to do than create drama

No one got a bollocking, but that person's reputation is now totally shot by the press, and also that same person is going to find it even harder to get into the station, or talk to anyone at work. I didn't dare mention the person's name to certain members of staff due to the fact she's related to my supervisor. :? But others know. MWAHAHAHA!!!

And thanks for the thingamajig for the wotsits. ;)

It fits the doohicky and is a surefire cure for the watchamacallits.

Well, me and the big bosses had a talk and it's official. No more hunts at the station. *sigh*
At least we have been the only hunters for the station. The first, the last the lot! Mind you, what a night!!! No other ghost group will ever be able to claim the cop shop. :D

Well? Colt, Franklee? What is your verdict about the cop shop investigation, and also what new material did you come up with. :?:

Franklee, since you've been verrrry quiet lately, I've been suspecting you of being up to mischief. Since Halloween is around the corner...

Any new investigations being organised yet? :)

Hee Hawwwww....nyah nyah nyah! I actually have been here SN, just having a quiet watch...and Ive been working which always leaves me a little empty when it comes to threads....WORK SUCKS! Im now trying to get used to the new look of the forum! Its pretty jazzy!

How is everyone? I will post my final analysis as soon as its finished and also contribute whatever pics I have that you guys would find interesting. We got a few! That reminds me...I have to call Colt!

I will start a new thread tomorrow about the idea I have for our next investigation. Anyone who is interested will be more than welcome!

Frank

I spent yesterday writing into the black box (yeah the one Im writing this into) about our findings and final assessment of HPS so everyone could profer their opinions. I managed to get most of it written and then deleted everything by copying and pressing del instead of pasting...lol...anyway when I get home from work I will c/p the original assessment from our first investigation and add something from the second. In the meanwhile, did anyone find the pic of the grey vapour rising between my emf detector and the ceiling strange? That pic has solicited so many comments from friends that I am tempted to add it to my "oddworld" folder. I would love to hear what (looking back) you guys all thought of the venue and few fairly odd events of the evening?

Ahhh! That explains the technicolor cloud hovering over the Te Atatu area.

That photo of yours, Frank, was an odd one. There was no light source to explain it. Not even a reflective surface to reflect an off camera light. I'd like to hear what the others think of it. :)

As you all can see, out of the mass of photo's I had taken, only a few were worthy of sharing. And during a moment when I was trying to sense the ghost's location, I felt a strange kind of energy building within me. I didn't know what the heck it was, so let it flow. And Boy, Did it!! It turned out to be my first experience of a ghost taking over my voice. I was quite aware of what was going on, but couldn't control it. I must admit, I'm not quite sure of what was said. I remember Colt asking questions, but I can't remember what they were.
No wonder I couldn't sense the ghost ahead of me, the blasted thing was behind me! :P

Anyway, now I know what happens when a ghost tries to take the voice over, I won't be letting that happen again. :P I wasn't even attempting to be a medium at that time. Sheesh! *snorts*

I've been thinking that the trigger object and the Trifield meter beside it may have been accidentally nudged by a more solid object... a passing human being who forgot about these objects.

The stage area was indeed very strange. More than one of us felt something like a big cold spot, despite the curtains being closed. Photos taken by others showed something was odd there.

All in all, we had fun, we also had some strange experiences there. BTW, I confess... I did tell the ghosts a few days before the hunt, to show up on that hunt date and put on a bit more than last time. And they did!

Update: A few days ago, I went into the bar area (this was around 10.00 pm) and said my greetings to the ghost, and the response... Well, I think he's learnt to tap now. Last time I was there, he was tapping on the bar to attract my attention, and is now more frequent. :)
