Hi All,

...i'm a Wellington resident who's been interested in the paranormal ever since i was young :D

I've been viewing these Forum's for a while & finally signed up!

Has anyone got any updates of haunted places in the Wellington region? I would eventually love to be part of a paranormal investigation.

Thanks

Hi There, I just had to join up and add some info to the statements about Carlile House in Richmond Rd Auckland. I was origanly built as a Industrial Training home about 1885 and stayed that way until about 1905. In 1909 the building was purchased by the Anglican Church as a childrens home till the mid 1930s. In 1936 the building was taken on by the church Army and named the building Carlile House. At some time it was used as a remand home until 1974 when it become empty. It is owned by a Tongan church who have built a church on the property.. I inspected this building last year (including upstairs) with two womwn whos mother lived there in its Orphanage time. I haven`t discovered any info on a large fire there and I didnt see any signs of one. Les
