Hi Everyone, I have been a Paranormal Investigator for around 17 years, in Australia and now New Zealand and this is the first time ever that I have used this type of media and it is great and looking forward to catching up with others whom have a love of the paranormal.

Well where to start, I have been involved in the paranormal field for around 17 years, maybe a bit longer, originally I was based in Australia then in 2006 I came to Wellington where I started NZ Paranormal ( NZPI ) where I have been flat out for the last couple of years, I did a series here in NZ called NZ Paranormal TV, that was shown on Triangle TV, now we are in the process of shooting a poilet for the next season but with a proper production crew, it took me totally by surprise the way it has taken off, I tried to keep it as real and as raw as possible.
As far as investigations we have done plenty in the last few years, most of them have been private, but I still like doing one where I can out on the website;
www.nzparanormal.co.nz
check it out if you like.
I Love this country and you would be amazed on what actually goes on here far as the unexplained, but we have a lot of fun doing what we do, I guess allot of it is because I have been around for quite awhile, but always preferred keeping under the radar until my move to NZ, I am happy to field any questions
Cheers and happy hunting
Brad ( NZPI )

Glad you like it here, I have been in NZ for over 30 years, spent 5 years in Melbourne before that and of course I was born in Northern Ireland.

I have been involved in a number of Radio, TV and magazine things. As far as the paranormal is concerned I've been involved for over 40 years. I'm an empathic sensitive I have never needed equipment to find ghosts. They find me.
GOHNZ did two television series, TV3 Ghosts and TV2's Ghost Hunt. I've also advised on a number of other media projects.
Can't say that I know Triangle TV, is that one of the local area Wellington stations.

Ya it started on Triangle a local TV Network and has grown from there a lot of international sites have picked it up and are now running the series, which is kinda cool, I have always tried to knock back media stuff, very now and then I let my guard down an do an interview but thats the way I am, sounds strange doing another series, that is now going to be shown on main stream TV, but at least this way I have control of what gets said and how it is done, other than that the media side of this can take a running jump, I will leave that up to other groups who feel the need to become media junkies.
As far as being a sensitive, mate I am about as sensitive as a lump of wood, I do rely on the tech side of thing, to me it one thing to say there are spirits about and another to catch evidence in the form of audio or film, but in the same token my younger sister is a medium and man do we have great debates on the subject.
Like you I also work as a consultant and have another site with Dave from Ghost Hunters New Zealand called Moving Shadows ( still under construction ) but up. It was mainly set up for that reason, I still managed to run across to Australia on a regular basis to continue work over there and enjoy every bit of it.

Yea I know Dave, I've spoken to him in the past.
Another chap that's very good is Clint Lawson.
Give me a link for it(your paranormal show) and I'll add it to the Pod casts and video thread.

Just a foot note on to that, everything I have done with TV and all the stuff I was asked to do, I never chased, asked for it or strayed from the truth about what I do or whom I am, I am a big basted with strong principles and convictions about what is deemed paranormal, even after all these years I have only scratched the surface in this field but thats the beauty of the supernatural, doesn't matter how far you dig, you will never finish that hole.

Not a problem Brad, you can use the banner at the top of the page as a link or there is a smaller one at the bottom of the front page on the main web-site.

Mind you the first series was all my own work, I had to Film, Direct, Produce, Edit and fund the series myself, so it is a little ruff in places, but! Man it was fun to do, and from that I have a production company contact me ( Pixlez Productions ) who will now be doing all the production stuff and leaves me to do what I do best INVESTIGATE ......... and I will just have to wait and see how it turns out, if it works or not only time will tell.

Wooohoo!! Gonna be on mainstream tv - now THATS my kinda language!

My dial up SUX bigtime!

Ever done anything in Karori Ceme Brad? Ive spent two days in total doing photography down there and love it...was particularly interested in finding murderers gully but there was never anyone around to ask.

Oh - to let you know a little about me. Im about as sensitive as a brick also - although GreyGhost and a few others think differently lol. All my luck in taking pictures and EVP have come from just that IMO - luck. I was in a group for a few months and we did a few investigations, Im sure the reports are on here somewhere. Lately in the active sense I have turned more to cemetery photography and although I'd love to get back into investigations Im probably a little too lazy at this point

Im very new to ghost hunting - my interest only really started about 4 years ago maybe.

Sure did episode 4 was on Karori Cemetery, a big investigation that night and a lot happened, I have a couple of good pics on the website from the cemetery. One of the main points I touched on was vandalism, I really hate vandalism in any form but when done in a cemetery is just low.
We have been there a few times now, it's a good starting ground for new investigators , because you have so much going on around you that it teachers you how to focus, a good method I found is to find a good spot, sit down and listen / observe.
Great place, but always ask permission first, that way no hassles from security of management, and if you follow there rules they will let you back anytime you want.
Like I said I am happy to answer any questions

Cheers

Well Kiwilady, where to begin: I have been involved on some fantastic investigations over the years, I will admit most of them where in Australia, I have also been ask to head to the UK to lead another group whom have invited me over, later in the year. OK some of the personal experiences are always a good start, the most memorable one would be back in a town called Rockhampton in Central Queensland I was asked to check out an old factory there a lot of the night shift blokes wouldn't work in one part of the building, they where just freaked out by seeing shadow people and voices, at this stage in my career I had been doing it for around 5 years and mainly worked on my own at this stage.
I bought a mate with me just incase and a good thing, nothing was really happening at all, quite boring actually a few shadows moving about but that was it.
So I started provoking I had done it before a few times and nothing much ever happened, so here I am calling this thing all kinds of names, to cut a long story short, I then woke up lying flat on my back still in the chair I was sitting on and my mate standing over me, shaking the crap out of me.
I don't remember much about the event, and this does happen to people from time to time, my mate tells me I am sitting there and next minute the chair lifts up I get thrown about a meter into the wall, must have knocked my self out. That was it I am amazed he stayed, since then I have experienced similar things but not as bad as that, but I am a stubborn bugger, 2 weeks later I went back to see if it would happen again, but I got some great EVP's on those visits, I never forget one EVP it said ( Your Back )...... those tapes are now long gone and it's a shame, but it is one of hose events as an Investigator, that the newbies of the field have yet to understand what can actually happen to you, it's not always as cool as some TV shows make out.
