New Zealand Ghosts & Other Haunts

I am a paranormal investigator with NSW Paranormal Research Unit based in the sydney /gosford region. We are a small group who have experienced some very remarkable happenings on investigations in nsw & have some very tangible evidence in the way of footage, photos, evp and personal experiences. I have been to Tasmania and am presently saving to visit Ireland and do some investigating over there.

I am a married 49 yo mother of 3 sons and live on the nsw central coast. I am visiting NZ in January and was hoping to be able to explore some of your haunted locations. I will be bringing my equipment, though its actually a holiday I am on, but am hoping to kill two birds with the one stone. lol

Where abouts here are you heading on your holiday? Im sure the members can recommend some fantastic haunted spots around the place, both on and off the beaten track.

We going to drive around in a campervan. My husband won $10,000 worth of vouchers from his company as an incentive thing. Going to bring 2 of my 3 sons with us. The middle boy wants to bungy jump lol. Not sure exactly where we are going yet and have been looking up a few haunted locations because I will be bringing my stuff and want to investigate somewhere if I can. I couldnt find any commerical ghost tours listed either.

I have some very good evp and some interesting footage of the courthouse we used to investigate. There was a poltergeist in there and we got some of the things he and the otehr spirits used to do in there.

I also have some interesting stories from experience of ghosts following you home and spirit attachment.

We dont have an EVP section as such, it could go in the Ghost or Not section bit.

The group I was in for a while had just started doing EVP before it disbanded, we had a friend in the states analyse and sort them for us. Its def something I would like to get back into when I get some gear. Looking forward to hearing yours.

I guess once you know a route it would be easier to point out some spots for you, it would depend how 'commercial' you would like to go.

Here in the North Island we have the Waitomo Hotel in the middle of the island which is well known to be haunted. In the South Island you have the likes of Larnach Castle.

You're lucky to have won some vouchers, that will def go a long way to helping you have a happy holiday Im sure!

Welcome Tracey! Good on your husband for getting the vouchers. He must be a hard worker! The weather will be great in January, I bet you'll have a great time.
You'll have to let us know your itinerary (sp?) so we can suggest some spooky locations for you.
