Subject: Hitch hiker ghost story for you
This is one of my favorite stories that I had heard from somebody before and I thought you'd be interested.

Late one night, on the outskirts of South Carolina, a man and his wife from out of town were driving to local hospital. The man's wife was ready to deliver a baby and they were puzzled and desperate for directions. As they quickly took a turn, a dark figure had began to dart across the lonely road when headlights spotted her. The man in the car stopped suddenly and blew the horn. A young pale girl was standing in front of the car with her face drained of all emotion. The man blew the horn once more before realizing that the girl was about ten years of age. The girl quickly ambled over to the driver's window and asked if she could get a ride. The man refused but then noticed several dark blood stains on the front of her shirt. The man hesitated but nodded and quickly opened the door of the backseat. The girl scrambled into the car and the man started down the road once more. Soon, they came to an intersection and the man was very confused. But the girl in the back seat calmly replied and told the man to go left. She continued to guide them until they had safely reached the hospital. The man turned around to graciously thank the young girl for her help but to his amazement, the girl had disappeared as soon as they pulled up to the hospital. The girl had supposedly been a restless spirit who had never made it to the hospital in time. But now that she had at long last reached the hospital, her soul now rests in peace....
