New Zealand Ghosts & Other Haunts

I usually try to avoid orb discussions if I can.
You see, I fully understand how orbs are created by environmental factors such a dust, glare, moisure etc etc.

I also believe that not all orbs are caused from these things. Unfortunately its is extremely difficult sometimes to spot the real spirit orb. Some people say its to do with the density but I dont think this can be a rule. The way I usually pick the spirit orbs is a combination of a few factors. Many times I can see the orb and also I take into consideration the actual place we are at and any activity that has been experienced there in the past. I also look at the amount of orbs, the behaviour of them as to whether they are responding for a photo or following. Many spirit orbs will have the same appearance and colour maybe at the same place from investigation to investigation.

I find that many spirit orbs will come around at special times of celebration and will behave in a way that shows intelligence or emotion maybe.

I think that its unfortunate that many have written off the spirit showing like this because it has been proven that environmental factors can cause this on a camersa. If that was the case then all ectoplasm would be smoke and all shadows would be just shadows and all evp would just be voiced of the living in the background.

I got a couple of photos of here that I claim to be spirit orbs and there are reasons I say this. I can feel when a spirit is near me because I get a tingling sensation around my aura.

This is another investigation but this is the same spirit as above. You may ask how I know this and its a very long story that I can try to explain later, if anyone is interested. The spirit actually lives with me and he came home with me from an investigation years ago. You could say he is attached to me but it isnt anythign scary like you read about. He is actually helpful now...though he never used to be. In this photo he is in my energy.

This is a funny photo. we were at an old pioneer cemetery which has a couple of newer graves as well. It is in the middle of the bush and I was with my sister. I have a habit of talking with the spirits who are around and I try to treat them like a living person . Here I had actually told any male spirits that my sister was single and if they would like to have there photo taken with her they could and then this was the very next photo. It isnt the moon as there is dense behind there.

These are two photo taken at Quarantine station in sydney a few years ago. That place is very haunted and I have many evp from there. I had felt a spirit around and asked my sister to walk down the verandah which she did and then I took the photo. I didnt look at the photo but then she came back and I told her to stand with my son down the other end of the verandah. When she went past I felt a spirit go past as a very cold air patch. Then I asked the spirit (telepathically) to please come into the photo wiht them because I wanted some proof that they could hear me when I talked telepathically. I told my sister what I had just asked. The very next photo showed the 3 spirit that had followed her, lined up inbetween them . My son has his eyes closed as he could feel a coldness next to his face.

I have included the photo and a negative version to show them up a bit better. Not the appearance of the orbs by the density and it does seem to me that they are indeed spiriti and the same ones that followed her. Dust does not behave intelligently like this.Notice also in this one that one of the orbs almost seems to be manifesting into a shape.

This one is interesting because it is taken at Maitland gaol which is near Newcastle NSW and I can assure you the place is very haunted as I have a very good evp from there that was even taken in the daytime.

The first photo was taken by a 35mm camera by a team member years before the second one which was taken by me on my digital and slightly enhanced to show it up. The guard tower in both is a different side but there have been many reported sightings of a guard apparition who walks the perimeter. I think it remarkable that the ors seem very similiar

That will do for now but I have many more photos that I believe are crossed over spirits showing the same way on special occasions and hanging over my left shoulder and joining in celebrations. I will post them later.

I very much think of orbs along the same line as you Tracey. I discount maybe 90% as having explainable origins - but some do not. After having seen an orb in flight with my own eyes and some very good video footage by an associate in the states, in wich an orb goes into manifestation I do think they have a place in the paranormal.

I am most intrigued by that picture where you told the spirit you sister was single. And, I must remember to use that next time Im out on the hung (For spirits that is lol).


Thanks for sharing those with us, I in particular thru my interests of ghost hunting and urban (abandoned) photography I have long wanted to get over to some of those abandoned Gaol's you guys have. I find them just gorgeous and fascinating!
