Golden Balls of Light

Does anyone have any ideas what golden balls of light are and what it means when one sees them? I saw one a few days ago out of the corner of my eye. It was about the size of a golf ball and hovered and slowly moved on the wall next to me for a few seconds and then vanished. It was so clear and vibrant. Is this just a form of energy or a spirit or? I would love to know.

I do not no what the lights are about. The ones I have seen many times, like night after night, just slowly, like almost in slow motion, seem to fall to the ground. This being outside. When I have been outside the next day, I always have expected to find some (firework) or such, or a little scorch mark on the ground, but there has never been anything. So, I guess they are coming from the other side .. On another occasion on going onto my back doorstep, I saw a large (bowling ball sized) globe appear from over my neighbours house, and come towards me and over my house. It was bright golden.

I'm not trying to be flippant here and please don't take offense, but have both of you had your eyes tested? (My first thought is to rule out a non-paranormal explanation.)

I have had my eyes checked in the past. As far as I know I have excellent vision. I too like to rule out all other possibilities before I decide something is infact paranormal phenomena. The last "golden ball" I saw recently was during an EVP session with friends of mine so it seemed rather fitting. Friends of mine have a ghostbox so we have been getting together quite a bit experimenting with it. Of course I could not rule out that what I saw was not a result of some sort of vision problem or some other very logical reason or other cause but I really do not think so.

A ghost box is just one device that can be used to record EVP (electronic voice phenomena). There is a lot of information about it online.

I must admit to seeing a solid white bowling sized globe floating in the bush in the front of my house once. When it realized I had seen it it shot off silently through the bush and trees.
