GHOST WEBSITE
There is a website that I have looked up called Best Ghost Photos Ever Taken (on Google). In it there is a pic of a ghost in the 'loft' of a church, but noone mentions the other ghost in the photo. Can any of you see it?? Let me know when you have had a look, I'd be curious to see what any of you think. Cheers

When I log into the site this is the address that I get. You'll have to excuse me as I am not very computer illiterate. If this link fails then just type Best Ghost Photos ever through the Google engine.

paranormal.about.com/od/ghostphotos/ig/Best-Ghost-Photos/

The picture is number 14 and it's title is "In The Choir Loft"

In 1982, photographer Chris Brackley took a photograph of the interior of London's St. Botolph's Church, but never expected what would appear on the film. High in the church's loft, seen in the upper right-hand corner of his photograph, is the transparent form of what looks like a woman. According to Brackley, to his knowledge there were only three people in the church at the time the photo was taken, and none of them were in that loft.
According to London Paranormal Database Records, "Mr. Brackley was later contacted by a builder who recognized the face of one that he had seen in a coffin in the church."

Yip got all of that and had read it........but is it just me or can you see a figure of a young girl (looking at the pic) to the right of the alter? She's standing there kind of side on. I saw her first and to me she is more distinct than the one in the loft. Maybe I'm just seeing whats not there so I asked someone else to take a look and they could see her too. :P

I think I can see the one you mean Sticky, but Im of the opinion neither image is clear enough to be discounted as Pareidolia in this pic. It is a very well known pic in ghost hunting circles however and does seem to resurface once in a while. :)

Ummmmmmmmmm indeed.
Here is the original colour photograph. I can only see one ghost on the balcony.
I sometimes wonder how many of you have read through the main web site of this forum.

Picture is about half way down.

"Mr. Brackley was later contacted by a builder who recognized the face of one that he had seen in a coffin in the church."

For what it's worth, I also see more 'possibilities' in the 'figure' to the left of the altar.

I am certain i'v seen an enhanced (probably photoshopped, but still) of this picture, you can see a figure pretty well, if I recall correctly, the entity next to the alter has distorted face and a dress or robe, will see if I can find it.

Edit: Found it, BUT. . (Boy do I feel silly) it's a different alter, sorry.

here it is anyway though, as I said, probably photoshopped.

Sorry again, been awhile since I seen the image, I think I got excited at the mention of the ghost to the right and remembered this image, ah well.

How can anyone recognise a face in there? It's not that clear. To me it doesn't really look like anything (maybe it's the quality of the pic?)

Also, how did a random builder happen to see a deceased person in a coffin at the church? They don't just leave bodies lying around. Unless he was at someones funeral, in which case he would know the name of the deceased person and I'm sure if that was the case this "ghost" would've been named.

Could've not been named out of respect for the family of the deceased? Who knows!

I'm a bit skeptical of photos, both digital and traditionally hand-developed ones due to all the variables that can alter a photo, be it photoshop or developer/stopbath/fixer issues. Either way they're rather interesting!

It does appear that there is a woman in the loft. Am I right in seeing that it appears to be in dated clothing- maybe late 1799s or early 1800s?
as for any girl near the alter, I think it could just be the cloth backdrop arranged in a certain way that gives that illusion
