Hi guys

Welcome to the cryptozoology section, another that Grey Ghost has kindly opened up to us on GOH. Also, crypto is a personal favourite topic of mine, so I hope to share some interesting stories and articles with you.

Basically cryptozoology is the study of animals not yet officially recognised by science. The most famous of these are along the lines of the Loch Ness Monster, Big Foot, Mokele-mbembe and the Chupacabra.

In New Zealand there is the likes of Waikoreke (giant otter type animal), Maero (wild man) and Taniwha among others.

Sometimes Cryptozoology also loosely includes the rediscovery of 'officially' extinct animals also.

In this topic the aim will be to share stories, articles and favourite pictures of our favourite cryptids.

Asylum :)

If anyone sees a picture of a huge hairy man with big feet... It's not the Yeti. It's my big brother. ;)
