New Zealand Ghosts & Other Haunts

This footage was filmed in a courthouse in nsw and a place that we investigated nearly every weekend at one stage for a couple of years.
These footsteps were the very first thing that I ever witnessed in that place and to be honest, it frightened me the first time because I was told would hear this but was not expecting it so loud . There were no more than 7 of us the first time I heard them and I heard them begin in the courtroom and furniture dragged about. Then the foosteps came up the hall towards the judges chamber, stopped outside the door, recommence inside the room on the other side of the door and then proceed to walk around everyone, pausing for a moment in front of people and then came over to me and stopped in front of me. It sounded like a man wearing boots on a wooden floor. There was enough light in the room to see that no one was moving and when it stopped in front of me, I just knew there was someone looking into my face but I could see nothing. That was the weirdest thing and probably the first thing that convinced me beyond any reasonable doubt , that ghosts existed. My heart nearly lept out of my chest and I felt like diving inbetween two people lol. After that it was a regular thing and the ghost actually waited for us.

This spirit actually began a tapping communication with us that went on for about 2 years. Similiar to what the fox sisters experienced. I have footage of that also.He woudl knock yes and no answers.

You know, the night that I first heard these footsteps, I was in shock. I mean, you read that footsteps are a classic sign of a haunting but never imagined anything as loud and definiant as this. I nearly crapped my pants lollllllll.

Tru i think i would do the same. most likey I would just jump and maybe say a bad word lol.

I remember that initial feeling of surety when you realise theres 'something' to this ghost hunting thing, and they do exist. Its such an amazing feeling, the 'knowing'.

What's the general thought in NSW on who the footsteps belong to Tracey? A judge, a convict? Do you know the story behind the haunting?

Yes he was an Irish convict. I know everythign there is to possibly know about him and even on friday (day off) going to sydney with another team member, to the state library with all the microfische records to find out more. You see , his father came out on the same ship , transported for life, and I am wanting to find out what he died of.

As probably l mentioned before, this spirit is not the same poltegeist that was in the courthouse. He has been enlightened . Its all got to do with unconditional love shown to him and that is why he is evolved but he is still earthbound. The best place he could be with is me because I have never judged him for bad things he did. He did murder some people and I wont talk about this because it serves no purpose now and is only bad energy. That was his physical life and that is what kept him in the lower end of the astral realm. That is an issue that I have been through with him and for him to dwell on the reasons behind it all, only retards his spiritual growth. I dont wish that for him.

I am a bit worried at the moment because there is a medium academy in sydney that has one medium who witnessed all this stuff in the courthouse. This spirit did not like this medium at all because she use to goad him. Goad isnt my word but the spirit word. He used to make her sick. I have footage of that also. She has written some articles on him which I have read and found inaccuracies in. Now this group are going to be going back into this courthouse and it's to do with making money. $60 a head to go in with the mediums. This spirit isnt even in there anymore and what worries me is that spirits can be summoned or invoked. These mediums can do this, in fact anyone can do this. This isnt for his benefit but for selfish reasons. They are not talking about releasing spirits.

So this is why I am not saying too much because I genuinely care about this spirit and do not wish him to be exploited. Not when he has come this far.

I can tell you though that this spirit has told me things that I have checked with in the records and he is spot on with what he has told me. I know all about his family, their names and his mothers and fathers name were correct because I found records and tithe aplotments in ireland which it all matched up.

This spirit gives me my own little history lesson everytime I ask him about how it was for him as a convict. He has told me how to make a whip handle , how to make stew using "one potato". Thiings he did as a lad and names of his friends. The other day he called me 'his little molly'. Well I thought he was being rude at first and then I googled and googled and found that an irish slang word for your girl or woman was "molly" It doesn say though when this word was first used in that respect but it makes me think it is an old one revived maybe. This spirit has told me that on arrival in australia he got 100 lashes and he passed out during them. He told me the prisoners used to itch in their cells, how he used to slam his food bowl down after eating, how men tried to 'make love to other men' in gaol, ho whe used to fight in ireland with his fists for money but never told his mother, how he calles his mother "mama" and his father "father", how his mama would make elderberry pie, how he and a friend took the grey mare out to ride when warned nto to because it was fiesty and he ended up slammed into a tree and broke his left hand. He said he told his mother he did it on the pig pen when it slammed on him. He has told me how to drive bullocks, make fences, how everyone was sea sick on the ship coming out and how men would fight and how they all had to crap in a bucket. How his mother cried and kissed him and gave him him rosary beads and her bible and writing implements before he left and how all his thing were stolen. How he befriended a man when he first came at the age of 19. This man was a counterfeiter and took him under his wing. He has told me how his oveseer at the place he was assigned made him clean his boots and this spirit used to pee on them. The overseer complalined about the smell and the spirit said that he must have trod in cow urine...........it just goes on and on .

So got off track here lol sorry. Back to the question you asked.
It is known by all my team and other teams who visited at the time and mediums, who the spirit is. We know because we had a fair idea and when he started to communicate with us, I fired questions at him left right and centre. In fact, at one stage he woudnt answer any more questions from me becasue he had this earthly idea that I was out to get him by finding out his business. So he would tap his answers to everyone else and totally ignore me . He knew I hated that.

Here is an example of how he communicated with us. At first he was making that noise randomly to get our attention and after a while we realised that it was paranormal. Then it was responding and we asked him to tap once for yes and twice for no. In this short clip here (we have much of him doing this) he taps loudly once to say that Kelly had the knack lol and then when asked if it was ok for him to tap like that all the time he says "no" by 2 taps. This was how the communication was. You had to ask questions that he coudl give a yes or no answer

Also at the same time his personality would come through. When he was angry he tapped none stop quickly. When he didnt understand the question or was about to lie or just didnt want to tell you, there would be silence, When he really wanted you to know somehting he woudl tap your answer really quickly. If he was trying to be acknowledged he woudl just tap slowly and randomly until you acknowledged him. Some nights he was louder than other nights
The tap sounded the same on whatever surface. Concrete , grass and even in a car, sounded the same. He also made other strange noises like a popping noise. Sometimes he woud tap under your arse lol and it woudl vibrate. I have footage of him finishing off a tune for me. He got sick of us asking how many spirits present so he would know were concentrating and counting and he would go "tap....tap...tap........taptaptaptaptaptap
That was funny. He has a reaslly funny sense of humour.

That is really really really amazing Tracey. I would love to hear more of your stories about this guy. I can see how it would be very easy to build an affinity with him.

Wow! That's awesome!! I've been meaning to check out this vid for ages, glad I finally remembered!! That would be so cool to experience! When you're a ghost, I wonder: can you tell that all those people are there because of you? If so, can you as a ghost see them? And if so, why don't more ghosts communicate with the living? I always wonder if there's this secret rule that says you can't let living beings know of the afterlife. But every now and then one breaks the rule & lets us know they're there
