Here is a weird photo I took in the restaurant area of the waitomo caves hotel, we heard some weird noises and shuffling so I decided to take a heap of photos. This turned up in one. It is a reflection of the flash on the window but inside the flash you can make out definite facial (nose)/ Skull like features. What do you guys think :?: :?

That is super weird cool - I love it....not too sure of its paranormal aspects but I love the look of it!

It doesnt appear to resemble any of the 'known' spirits thought to haunt the Waitomo. But whats not to say transient spirits couldnt be attracted to the area also.

I do wonder about reflection etc and its affect on film, Im by no means expert in that area. Could there be reflection somehow from someone else in the room? Was there anything worthy of note in any of the other pics you took?

Cheers, of all the photos I have taken at waitomo this is the only interesting one I have taken. Im not sure about it being our reflection, there were 3 of us in the restaurant when i took the photo and we were standing about 7 metres away from the window. The pic was taken around late 2007 on a kodak digital camera.

Ok I just tried to upload the uncropped original but it wont let me, the upload screen just turns white. :?

If anyone wants it i can email it to you. Greyghost I'm not sure what an exif file is.

I suppose it could be pareidolia (pretty good one at that) - I would hate to think you were being perved at by a big bald headed ghost while you ate! lol
